The Chardham Series from Kailapira is an assortment of four packs of dhoop batti, each fragrance named for one of the Chaar Dhaams of India — Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri. It suits daily puja, meditation and quiet moments at the end of a long day, filling a room with scent within seconds of lighting.

• Made from sacred temple flowers collected in the hills of Uttarakhand

Kailapira collects flower waste offered at temples and reoffers it as dhoop sticks, working with CSIR India under an aroma mission on research and development. The aroma is well suited to aromatherapy and to settling the mind before meditation.

How to use: place a stick in the holder, light the tip, let the flame settle and allow the stick to smoulder in a well-ventilated space away from anything flammable.
