Sustainable Nightwear — Bamboo & Organic Cotton

Nightwear sits against skin for eight hours a night and gets washed constantly, so fabric and construction matter more than styling. Our range covers bamboo viscose, organic cotton and cotton-linen sets for men and women — all vegan, with no silk or wool.

Choosing fabric

• Bamboo viscose is the softest option and moves moisture well in humid weather. Our Bamboology nightwear is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which confirms the finished fabric has been tested for harmful substances — it is a safety certification, not a performance one.
• Organic cotton breathes well and gets softer with washing, but wrinkles and takes longer to dry during monsoon.
• Cotton-linen suits hot, dry summers and is the most durable of the three.
• GSM: 140–180 GSM knits work year-round in most of India; heavier fleece is only worth it for northern winters.

Fit and finish

• Check for flat or covered seams at the shoulder and waist — raised seams are what wake people up.
• Elastic-free or drawstring waistbands last longer than encased elastic, which loses tension after 30–40 washes.
• Wash cool and line-dry in shade; bamboo viscose loses drape in a hot dryer.
