EarthBased works with independent brands across food, wellness, fashion and home. Where a vendor holds third-party certification, we list it here so you can check it before you buy.

Bamboology — bamboo clothing and home textiles

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — certified by the OEKO-TEX Association, covering all bamboo fabric products. This is an independent laboratory certification confirming the fabric is free from harmful substances and safe for sensitive skin, including infant products.

Bamboology also holds two patents, for a bamboo leakproof period panty and a reusable bamboo infant diaper.

What OEKO-TEX Standard 100 covers: testing for harmful substances and chemical safety. It is a substance-safety certification and does not itself test antibacterial performance.

Ecotyl — organic foods and ethical beauty

NPOP certified organic — Ecotyl sources from vendors certified under India's National Programme for Organic Production, the government standard for organic farming. Products are made without synthetic pesticides, GMOs, artificial colours or added preservatives.

Anuttama — bean-to-bar chocolate

FSSAI licence 21221068000188. Cocoa sourced from Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. Chocolate is non-alkalised and made without chemical treatment, artificial flavours, oils, preservatives or additives. Full nutrition panels are published on every product page.

How we handle claims

We ask vendors to substantiate the claims they make. Where a certificate exists, we name the certifying body and the standard, so the claim can be verified rather than taken on trust. If you believe a claim on this site is inaccurate, please contact us and we will take it up with the vendor.
