Shipping Policy

EarthBased delivers across India. This page explains how orders are dispatched, how long delivery takes, and what to do if something goes wrong in transit. For returns and refunds, see our Refund and Returns Policy.

Delivery timelines

Orders are typically delivered pan-India within 3–5 business days of dispatch. Metro cities are usually at the faster end of that range; remote and North-Eastern pin codes can take longer.

Orders are processed on business days. Orders placed on a Sunday or a public holiday are processed on the next working day.

How dispatch works

EarthBased is a multi-vendor marketplace. Products are dispatched directly by the brand that makes them, which means an order containing items from more than one brand may arrive in separate parcels on different days. This is normal and you are not charged extra for it.

You will receive tracking details by email once your parcel has been handed to the courier.

Serviceable pin codes

We deliver to most pin codes across India. A small number of remote locations are not serviceable by our courier partners. You can check serviceability for your pin code on the product page before placing an order.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated at checkout based on your delivery pin code and the contents of your cart. The final amount is always shown before payment.

Perishable and temperature-sensitive items

Some products, including plant-based cheese, butter and other chilled items, are temperature-sensitive. These are packed appropriately for transit and may be dispatched on specific days of the week to protect the cold chain. Please accept delivery promptly and refrigerate on arrival.

Delays outside our control

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government action, courier disruption or incorrect delivery details provided at checkout.

Damaged or missing parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, or does not arrive within the expected window, email hello@earthbased.store with your order number and photographs of the packaging. Please report damage within 7 (seven) days of delivery so we can raise it with the vendor and courier.

Governing law

This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kakinada.
