Eco-Friendly Home Cleaning Products in India

Conventional household cleaners rely on strong surfactants, synthetic fragrance and chlorine bleach, and most of it goes down the drain. This range covers floor cleaners, dishwash liquid and bars, laundry detergent and liquid, glass and surface cleaners, and bathroom cleaners built on plant-derived and fermented ingredients instead.

How to read a cleaning product label

• Surfactant source — coconut- or sugar-derived surfactants (coco glucoside, decyl glucoside) rather than SLES.
• Biodegradability — look for a stated readily-biodegradable claim rather than a general "eco" badge.
• Fragrance — essential oils, or unscented. "Parfum" on an Indian label can cover a long undisclosed list.
• Concentrates and refills — a concentrate or refill pouch cuts both plastic and shipping weight substantially.
• Bio-enzyme cleaners — fermented citrus and jaggery preparations, effective on grease and safe around drains and septic tanks.

Everything here is vegan and cruelty-free. Note that gentler cleaners generally need a little more contact time than harsh ones — leave them on the surface rather than wiping immediately.
