The Good Route Wax Tablets

Scented wax tablets made from soy wax and crushed lavender, meant for the spaces you open rather than the rooms you sit in — cupboards, cabinets, drawers and bathroom shelves. There is no flame and no wick: the tablet simply sits where you tuck it and releases its scent slowly into the enclosed space. Supplied as a set of two, each 6 by 3 inches.

Key Features

• Flame-free — nothing to light, so it can be left in a closed cupboard
• Soy wax with crushed lavender worked into the tablet
• Slim 6 x 3 inch form that slides behind linen, clothes or toiletries
• Set of 2, enough for two cupboards or a cupboard and a drawer
• Handmade, plant-based and cruelty-free

Materials

• Soy wax
• Crushed lavender

How to Use

Slip a tablet into a cupboard, drawer, cabinet or bathroom shelf and leave it undisturbed. Enclosed spaces hold the scent best; an open room disperses it quickly. Scratching the surface lightly with a fingernail refreshes the aroma once it starts to fade.

Good to Know

Soy wax softens in high temperatures, so keep the tablets out of hot cupboards and away from windows. Lay them flat rather than upright against a warm surface. Do not eat them or leave them within reach of children and pets.

FAQs

Do I light it?

No. There is no wick. The tablet works cold, releasing its scent gradually into the enclosed space around it.

How long does the scent last?

It is strongest in the first weeks and eases off over time, more slowly in a small closed cupboard than in an open one.

Can I revive a faded tablet?

Scratch the surface gently to expose fresh wax and lavender — that brings some of the aroma back.

Will it stain clothes or linen?

Keep the tablet from resting directly against fabric in a hot cupboard, since softened soy wax can leave a mark. A small dish or paper wrap avoids it.
