Kheoni — Plant-Based Skincare & Hair Care in India

Kheoni formulates skincare and hair care around botanical extracts, cold-pressed oils, seaweed and probiotic ingredients. The range covers body lotions and butters, body oils, face creams, rose water mists, facial kits and shampoos.

How to pick within the range

• Body butter vs body lotion — butters are richer and suit dry skin and winter; lotions absorb faster and work better in humid weather. Body butter bars are the low-packaging option.
• Body oil — apply on damp skin straight after a shower so it seals in water rather than sitting on the surface.
• Face cream — check the first five ingredients. Humectants such as glycerin and hyaluronic acid pull in moisture; occlusives such as shea and plant butters hold it there. Most skin wants both.
• Rose water mist — look for steam-distilled rose water high in the list rather than water plus fragrance.
• Patch test — botanical and essential-oil-rich formulations can still irritate. Test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before using anything new on your face.
