EarthBased is an Indian marketplace for vegan, cruelty-free and sustainable products — around 2,000 listings from roughly 37 independent Indian brands across food and grocery, beauty and skincare, fashion, baby care, health and wellness, cleaning and home and office.

What we check before listing a brand

• No animal-derived ingredients — that means no honey, ghee, casein, gelatin, beeswax, lanolin, carmine or shellac, which are the ones most often missed.
• No animal testing at any stage.
• Claims we can stand behind. Where a vendor states a certification, the ones we have independently verified — OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on Bamboology fabric, NPOP organic sourcing on Ecotyl, FSSAI licensing on Anuttama — are listed on our vendor certifications page.
• Small-batch reality. Handloom weave, glaze tone and natural dye shades vary between pieces. Sizing is not standardised across independent makers, so read the measurement chart on each listing.
