Ingredients

• Stage 1 — ragi: sprouted ragi, cardamom.
• Stage 2 — ragi, moong dal and beetroot: sprouted ragi, moong dal, beetroot.
• Stage 3 — ragi, oats, red lentil and banana: sprouted ragi, oats, red lentil, banana.

How to Cook

• Add 2 tbsp of the porridge mix to a pan.
• Stir in 100 ml of water or milk and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
• Serve warm once it reaches a smooth consistency.

How do the three stages differ?

Stage 1 is ragi with cardamom. Stage 2 adds moong dal and beetroot. Stage 3 adds oats, red lentil and banana.

Is 50 g enough to judge a stage?

It gives several feeds, which is usually enough to see whether a blend is accepted before you buy the full pouch.

Water or milk?

Either. Water is the usual starting point; use milk only once your paediatrician has advised it is appropriate.

Can I skip a stage?

Better not to. The stages step up in ingredients, and moving gradually makes it easier to spot what does not suit.
