Handmade paper varies in shade and texture. Seed pencils need to be planted in soil and watered before the seed capsule will do anything; germination is not guaranteed.

How do the seed pencils work?

Each pencil has a seed capsule at the end. When the pencil is worn down too far to write with, plant that end in a pot of soil and keep it watered.

How is this different from the World Map kit?

The contents are the same. This one has the vintage letter cover design; the other has a world map cover.

Does the bamboo pen take refills?

It is supplied as a working pen. We do not have vendor confirmation on refill compatibility.
