- Over-steeping brings out bitterness from the green tea leaf
A two-ingredient blend of whole-leaf green tea and spearmint from Lluvia Tea. Spearmint is softer and sweeter than peppermint, so the mint sits alongside the grassy green tea rather than overpowering it. It is a light, refreshing cup for the middle of the day and works particularly well iced.

FAQs
Is this the same as peppermint tea?
No. Spearmint is a different mint, with a gentler and slightly sweeter flavour and much less of peppermint's cooling bite.
Why should I avoid boiling water?
Green tea leaf scorches above about 85°C, which turns the cup bitter and flattens the mint aroma.
Can I add milk?
It is not suited to milk. Drink it plain, hot or chilled, to keep the mint and green tea clear.
