FAQs

Do the pleats add bulk at the waist?

Double knife pleats add a little volume across the front of the hip, which is what creates the room through the thigh before the leg tapers. They sit flat when the trouser is worn at the natural waist.

Are these more formal than the tapered pants in the range?

Yes. The pleating and the muted check make them the dressier option; the Rustic and Wild tapered pants have a flat waistband and read more casual.

Will the pleats hold their shape?

They are stitched in. Steam ironing sets them again after wear — avoid a dry hot iron directly on the modal.

Can I wear them with a printed top?

The check is fine and low-contrast, so it takes a print well. A plain shirt still keeps the trousers the focus.
