FAQs

Does an optical mouse track well on cork?

Yes. The surface is matte and evenly textured, which is what optical sensors read best; glossy surfaces are the ones that cause trouble.

Is 20 x 20 cm big enough for gaming?

It suits normal desk work and a medium mouse sensitivity. Low-sensitivity gaming setups that need broad sweeps will want a larger pad.

Will it curl at the edges?

At 5 mm the pad is stiff enough to lie flat. Keeping it dry prevents warping.

Is the ONEarth cork mouse pad plastic-free?

Yes. The pad is made of cork with no rubber or polyester backing, and it ships in completely recyclable packaging. Cork is stripped from the bark, so the tree keeps growing.

Does the cork mouse pad slip on a glass or wooden desk?

Cork has enough natural grip to stay put on wood or laminate. The listing does not test it on glass, so a very smooth glass top may need checking.

Can I clean the cork mouse pad with water?

Wipe it with a barely damp cloth and let it air dry. Do not soak it or rest a wet glass on it, because cork absorbs liquid and can warp.

Is the cork mouse pad good for a work-from-home desk gift?

Yes. At ₹299 with a 20 x 20 cm footprint it fits compact desks and suits anyone wanting a natural-looking desk setup. For bulk or corporate gifting, email hello@earthbased.store.
