- Green tea
- 1 teaspoon (about 2 g) per 200 ml cup.
- Water at 80 to 85 C, steeped 2 to 3 minutes.
- Strain promptly — lavender turns bitter if left in the cup.
- Drink plain, or with a small amount of honey.
- Type: floral green tea blend, loose leaf
- Storage: airtight, cool, dry and away from light
- Contains caffeine from the green tea.
- Lavender is potent — use slightly less leaf if you find floral teas overpowering.
- Bud size and colour vary between harvests.
Lavender Dream Tea blends dried lavender buds with green tea leaves. Lavender is a strong aromatic, so the proportion matters: here it sits as a soft floral perfume over a light green tea rather than dominating it. The cup is pale, gently fragrant and best drunk plain.

FAQs
Does it taste like soap?
Not when brewed correctly. Soapiness comes from too much lavender or too long a steep; keep to 2 to 3 minutes below boiling.
Can I mix it with the chamomile blend?
Yes, they sit together well — use half a teaspoon of each per cup.
Is it suitable as an iced tea?
Yes, though brew it slightly weaker; the lavender concentrates as it chills.
