The base is earthy and grassy, the lemongrass adds a citrus lift, tulsi brings a warm peppery depth, and the marigold gives the cup a soft floral finish and flecks of colour. How to Brew

• Use 1 teaspoon (about 2 g) of loose leaf per cup.
• Pour water at 80 to 85 C — boiling water scorches green tea and turns it bitter.
• Steep 2 to 3 minutes. Longer is not stronger, only more astringent.
• Strain and drink plain; no milk or sugar needed.
