- Finish: water-resistant and mould-resistant
- Wipe the cork with a damp cloth; brush loose dirt off the canvas before it works into the weave
- Do not machine wash, soak or dry clean either material
- Air dry fully open, away from heat and sunlight
- Do not iron the canvas panels; heat can lift the cork from its backing
- The cork and canvas age differently, so the two surfaces will not stay perfectly matched
- Water-resistant rather than waterproof; wipe it dry rather than leaving it wet
- Cork grain and canvas weave vary between pieces, so each wallet is slightly different
This version of the Kakapo bifold pairs cork panels with cotton canvas, so the wallet has the texture of the cork range but the harder-wearing surface of a canvas bag. The layout is the same as the all-cork Kakapo: seven card slots, two cash sections and a hidden slot. It suits someone who likes the cork look but wants a wallet that shrugs off the pocket of a work bag.

How to Use It
Load the seven slots one card each so the bifold shuts flat, and split notes and receipts between the two cash sections. If the wallet gets damp, open it out and let both the cork and the canvas dry fully before folding it away.

FAQs
How is this different from the all-cork Kakapo?
The internal layout is identical. This one swaps some cork panels for cotton canvas, giving it a more textured look and a surface that stands up better to rubbing inside a bag.
Does the canvas stain?
Canvas holds dirt more than cork does, so brush it off early rather than letting it soak in. Spot cleaning works; washing the whole wallet does not.
Is there a coin pocket?
No. It is a card-and-notes wallet. For change, choose the Ibis or the Printed Kiwi Zip wallet, both of which have a zipped coin section.
