Greenmeat Keema - Ready to Eat

Greenmeat Keema is a ready-to-eat plant-based mince cooked with onion, tomato, carrot, beans and a warm north Indian spice mix. The minced protein comes from pea and soy, and the texture is close enough to keema that it works in the places keema usually goes: pav, parathas and wraps. It heats through in about two minutes.

Ingredients

Minced vegetable protein chunks (water, pea protein isolate, soy protein isolate, dietary fibre, wheat gluten, corn starch, salt, natural flavours), gravy (water, onion, refined coconut oil, tomato, carrot, garlic, ginger, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, beans, salt, coriander powder, spice mix, garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder).

How to Use

Best result: heat a teaspoon or two of oil, butter or ghee in a pan and sauté the keema for two minutes, then finish with lemon juice and chopped onion. Alternatively, dip the sealed inner pouch in boiling water for two to three minutes, or microwave the pouch for about a minute.

How does it differ from the tikka?

This is a minced, gravy-based dish for stuffing and serving with bread. The tikka is a drier, tandoori-marinated piece you eat as a starter.
