Does it come with a blouse or petticoat?

No. The saree is sold on its own — you will need to source a blouse and petticoat separately.

What is the difference between the unstitched and pre-stitched options?

Unstitched is the full 5.5 metre length to drape yourself. Pre-stitched arrives with the pleats and drape already sewn in, so it goes on like a skirt.

How does modal silk drape compared to a traditional silk saree?

It is lighter and more fluid, so it clings closer to the body and holds fewer sharp folds. It is also less slippery to pleat than a satin-finish silk.

Can it be washed at home?

No — dry clean only. Water and detergent will dull the Ajrakh natural dyes across a length this large.
