Skinnelate makes small-batch skincare and hair care built around classical Ayurvedic ingredients — kumkumadi serums, scrubs, gels and masks, 24k gold and spirulina ranges, whipped soap bars, under-eye and eyebrow roll-ons, herbal hibiscus conditioners and herbal hair colour in black and brown. Everything in the range is vegan and not tested on animals.

How to choose within the range

Pick serums by concern rather than by name: the kumkumadi line is aimed at uneven tone and glow, the aqua and pink lotus lines at hydration, and the anti-pigmentation serum at dark spots. Check the ingredient (INCI) list on each product page and patch test anything new on the inner forearm for 24 hours before using it on the face — a sensible habit with any botanical formulation.

For herbal hair colour, do a strand test first: results vary with your base shade and how much grey you are covering. Herbal colour fades gradually rather than leaving a root line, but it also lifts less than chemical dyes — expect deepening over repeated use.
