This collection groups the products on EarthBased that are made in genuinely small runs — handloom-woven clothing, hand-thrown stoneware, bean-to-bar chocolate, hand-bound journals, artisan jewellery and small-batch skincare. These are not mass-manufactured lines, and that has practical consequences worth knowing before you order.

What buying small-batch actually means

• Variation is normal. On handwoven textiles, expect slight differences in weave density and dye tone between pieces. On stoneware, glaze pooling and colour depth shift between firings. Neither is a defect — it is how the process works.
• Stock does not restock quickly. A handloom run or a chocolate batch can take weeks to remake. If you want two of something, order together rather than separately.
• Sizing is not standardised. Independent makers cut to their own blocks. Read the measurement chart on each listing rather than assuming your usual size.
• Natural dyes shift with wear. Plant and mineral dyes soften over time. Wash cold, separately for the first few washes, and dry in shade.
• Food in small batches carries shorter shelf life because it uses fewer preservatives. Check the manufacture date and the FSSAI licence number on the pack.
