- Antique brass fittings darken a little with handling, which is normal for the finish.
The Armadillo Backpack in black with brown trim is a rolltop pack for hikes, road trips and long travel days. Rolling the top down compresses it for a light day out; unrolling it gives you the height for a few days' clothes. This is the darkest of the three Armadillo colourways and the one that shows trail dust and travel wear least.

FAQs
Does the rolltop keep rain out?
Rolling the top down several times and buckling it closes the opening off, and the canvas is water-resistant, so light rain is not a problem. It is not a dry bag.
How much can it hold when fully unrolled?
Unrolled it takes a couple of days' clothes alongside a laptop; rolled tight it sits closer to a daypack.
Can I check it in as luggage?
It is better as cabin or carry-on baggage. A rolltop with brass fittings is not built for conveyor-belt handling.
