Copper & Healing Stone Bracelets in India — Vegan & Adjustable
This range covers two quite different things: solid pure copper kadas and bracelets worn in the Ayurvedic tradition, and gemstone bead bracelets and charms in rose quartz, amethyst, black obsidian and chrysoprase, plus nav graha designs.
Choosing a copper bracelet
- Purity. Solid copper darkens over time. That patina is ordinary oxidation, not a defect — a rub with lemon and salt, then a rinse and dry, restores the shine.
- Fit. Adjustable open kadas can be gently squeezed or widened at the gap. Repeated adjustment work-hardens the metal, so set it once and leave it.
- Green skin marks are a harmless reaction between copper and skin oils, and wash off with water.
- Nickel. If you react to costume jewellery, check that any plated piece states nickel-free — nickel is the most common cause of contact dermatitis in jewellery.
Choosing a gemstone bracelet
- Bead size and stretch cord. 8mm beads are the common everyday size; check the cord is doubled, as single-strand elastic is the usual failure point.
- Natural stone varies. Colour banding and inclusions differ piece to piece — uniform, glassy beads are often dyed glass rather than the named stone.
- Care. Keep stones away from perfume and remove before swimming; chlorine dulls the finish.
These are worn in traditional and decorative practice; they are not medical devices and make no medical claim. All pieces are vegan — no leather cord, bone or shell.
