Acids can dull or etch natural stone such as marble, so check that the product says it is safe for your floor before using it. How do you mop your floor properly?
- Sweep or vacuum first so the mop does not push grit around.

- Wring the mop well. A dripping mop leaves water in the grout and can damage wood.
- Mop in sections, working towards the door.
- Rinse the mop and let it dry in the sun.
