Soft Spot Vegan Soft Mozzarella – 200 g
Soft Spot Vegan Soft Mozzarella is a 200 g dairy-free fresh-style mozzarella made in India from cashew cream and coconut oil. It has a looser, creamier set than a pizza block and is designed to be torn or spooned rather than grated.
The softer sibling of the block mozzarella. Where the block grates, this one spoons — a set closer to fresh mozzarella di bufala than to a pizza block. Torn over a finished margherita or a plate of tomatoes and basil, it stays yielding rather than firming up as it cools.

How to use it
What’s in it
Water, cashew cream (30%), coconut oil (23%), tapioca starch, thickening agent (E407), salt, vegan flavours, emulsifying and stabilising agent (E412), acidity regulator (E270).
How it compares
Choose this over Soft Spot block Mozzarella when the cheese is a finishing ingredient rather than a cooked one. The block browns and pulls; this one stays creamy. For a spreadable option in a tub, see the Plain Cheese Spread.

Frequently asked questions
How is soft mozzarella different from Soft Spot's block mozzarella?
It has a softer, creamier set. Use it for fresh applications and finishing; use the block when you need to grate and want browning and pull.
Can I use it on pizza?
Yes, though it stays creamy rather than browning. For a classic pizza crust finish the block mozzarella performs better.
Is it suitable for lactose intolerance?
Yes. It contains no dairy and therefore no lactose.
What does it cost?
₹528 for 200 g on EarthBased.
How should I store it?
Refrigerated at 2°C–8°C, in an airtight container once opened.
